Reward Rules · version 2026-08-27-placeholder
One verified opportunity. Your choice of value.
These rules explain what unlocks a benefit and what form it can take. Amounts are not published yet, and this page will not pretend otherwise.
Amounts are not yet set
This is a placeholder version of the Reward Rules. It describes the structure honestly and deliberately states no figure: no amount, no percentage, no rate, no cap, no expiry. Those are not hidden pending a reveal — they have not been decided.
When they are, they will be published here as a new version, and the version in force when you submitted is recorded against your opportunity. A later revision cannot change what applied to something you already shared.
Verification is the trigger, not submission
Submitting an opportunity does not earn anything. A benefit becomes available when the nod team verifies it, which requires all of the following:
- a genuine and sufficiently clear need exists;
- the relevant contact or authorised party has confirmed it, or valid permission was given;
- it is not a disallowed duplicate;
- it falls within an accepted service category and geography;
- it does not rely on confidential, fraudulent or unlawfully obtained information;
- it passes the applicable sector and compliance checks.
The Benefit Wallet
When an opportunity is verified, you choose what your contribution creates. You can set a preference at any point beforehand and change it until the benefit is issued.
- Cash
- A payout through a supported local method once a benefit becomes available.
- Grow
- Enhanced-value credit toward nod-managed services for your own business.
- Ask
- Priority help, a requirement diagnosis, or a relevant introduction when you need one.
- Learn
- Credit toward an eligible course, workshop, mentorship or expert session.
- Impact
- nod donates from its Impact Fund to a vetted nonprofit in recognition of your contribution.
Choosing Impact means nod donates from its own Impact Fund and is the donor of record. You receive an acknowledgement, not a personal tax certificate, and no personal deduction arises.
Participation can increase a benefit
Supplying useful additional context, completing a consented introduction, attending a discovery meeting, helping scope a requirement, or supporting delivery can each increase what a verified opportunity unlocks. The trigger and size of every increase remain undecided and are not implied here.
What is not promised
Sharing an opportunity earns nothing by itself, and no benefit carries a value until the programme economics are published. nod makes no promise of income, and none of the wallet choices should be read as one.
Rewards may be taxable, and may be subject to deduction at source depending on where you are and which choice you make. Where deductions apply, they are shown before a payout, and an annual statement is provided where one is required.
Nothing is payable for a submission that is fraudulent, duplicated, prohibited, or cannot be verified.
