Start a conversation and explain the situation in plain language. You do not need a pitch, a budget, or a decision-maker’s name. What matters is a real need, some idea of why it matters now, and how you are connected to it.

nod will ask first whether this is your own requirement or something affecting someone else, because everything that follows depends on the answer.

You get a written brief of what nod understood, and every field is editable. If something was misread, change it. Nothing is submitted from the conversation itself.

If the opportunity involves someone else, you choose one of two routes. Either you confirm you already have their permission for the nod team to get in touch, or you ask us to check first — in which case we create a private invitation for you to forward, and nobody is contacted until they answer it themselves.

Separately, you choose whether your name is shared with them, kept private, or revealed only if you approve it later. These are two different questions and nod treats them that way.

A one-time code confirms the opportunity belongs to you, which is what lets you check its status later and what attribution and any reward depend on.

Verifying does not submit anything. It is a separate step on purpose.

When you are ready, you submit explicitly. The nod team reviews the opportunity, follows the contact route you permitted, and coordinates what happens next. If specialist delivery is needed, selected professionals work under nod team coordination.

You can check the status of anything you have submitted by verifying the same email again.

nod does not contact someone because you mentioned them. It does not sell contact lists. It does not share your identity with a contact unless you chose that. And it does not treat submitting an opportunity as the same thing as it being verified — those are different events, and only the second one relates to a reward.
